Instructions for Poster Presentation
at the 6th ARCID 2025

Dear Authors,

We are pleased to have you present your research at the 6th African Regional Conference on Irrigation and Drainage (ARCID) in Abuja -Nigeria from 14th – 18th April, 2025. Please carefully follow these instructions to prepare your poster for presentation.

  1. Poster Printing & Responsibility
    a. All authors must use the official conference poster template provided. Use button below to download the poster template.
    b. Authors are responsible for printing their posters. The conference technical committee will not provide printing services.
    c. Please ensure that your poster is ready before arriving at the venue to avoid last-minute printing challenges.
  1. Poster Size & Layout
    a. Recommended poster size: The recommended dimensions of B0 size is 1000 mm (width) by 1414 mm (height) or 39.37 inches (width) by 55.67 inches (height).
    b. The poster layout should be Portrait.
    c. Use a clear and professional layout with legible fonts (at least 24 pt for body text, 36 pt for headings).
    d. Include the conference sub-theme, paper title, author names, affiliations, and contact information at the top.
    e. Use this template (see sample poster picture) for your poster
  1. Content Guidelines
    a. Keep the text concise and easy to read. Avoid long paragraphs—use bullet points where possible.
    b. Use high-quality graphics, charts, and images to support your data.
    c. Ensure all figures, tables, and graphs are labeled properly.
    d. Avoid excessive use of colors; use a professional and visually appealing color scheme.
    e. Proofread for spelling and grammar errors before printing.
  1. Poster Display & Setup
    a. Posters should be displayed on the assigned poster board/stand at the designated area.
    b. Each presenter will be assigned a poster number—ensure your poster is placed at the correct location.
    c. Mounting materials (e.g., pins, adhesive tape, or Velcro) will be provided at the venue.
  1. Presentation & Interaction
    a. Authors are requested to stand by their posters and respond to questions that may arise from their work.
    b. Bring business cards or handouts for networking opportunities.
  1. Additional Notes
    a. If you require additional materials, please notify the Technical Committee in advance using this email, secreteriat@6arc2025.org.ng.
    b. Respect other presenters and adhere to the conference schedule.
